For Kerry’s sake, I hope that “I was for legal abortion, before I was against it briefly for political reasons, before I was for it again” is an acceptible explanation at the entrance to the Pearly Gates.

Situational ethics and relativism at their worst.

The House voted 51-41 this afternoon to declare that a fertilized egg has all the rights of any person.

That means a fetus could not be legally aborted without the procedure being considered murder.

But as Hot Air notes, this thing is far from certain to become law:

The Senate may sit on this bill rather than put North Dakota into a national firestorm over abortion rights. Such a fight would certainly be costly, and likely futile.

So the bill might have about as much chance of becoming law as a 6-week unborn baby has of surviving his mom’s visit to a “Planned” Parenthood clinic. But for now, I’m keeping hope alive and praying that this law has a chance to be born alive.

Chances are you haven’t, especially if you rely on the so-called “mainstream media” for your news.
