The Underground Conservative
The REAL story slipped through their fingers
In their usual attempt to make President Bush look bad, the New York Times makes a rare admission: that desertions were HIGHER during the Clinton administration, when we weren’t at war, than they are now:
The Army prosecuted desertion far less often in the late 1990s, when desertions were more frequent, than it does now, when there are comparatively fewer.
Sounds to us like there’s a story in there somewhere. Funny how selectively incurious the Times’ reporters can be.
